Local-First Architecture

OMEGA is local-first software. Your memories, decisions, preferences, documents, and all stored data remain on your machine in a local SQLite database. We do not have access to this data. We cannot read it, sell it, or share it because we never receive it.

What We Collect

We collect only what is needed to operate the subscription:

• Email address provided at checkout, used for license delivery, billing receipts, and rare product announcements.
• Payment information processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• License key generated at purchase, stored in our database to validate your subscription status.

Optional Cloud Sync

If you enable cloud sync, selected memories are encrypted and synced to Supabase infrastructure. Cloud sync is off by default and requires explicit opt-in. You can disable it at any time, and your local database remains the authoritative copy.

Website Analytics

The omegamax.co website uses standard analytics to understand traffic patterns. We do not use analytics inside the OMEGA Software itself. The Software does not phone home, track usage, or send telemetry.

Third-Party Services

• Stripe for payment processing
• Resend for transactional emails (welcome email, billing receipts)
• Supabase for license validation and optional cloud sync
• Vercel for hosting the website and dashboard

Data Retention

License records are retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days. If you cancel and request deletion, we will remove your email and license data within 30 days. Your local OMEGA database is yours and is never affected by account changes.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@omegamax.co. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes

We may update this policy with 30 days notice via email. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
